Should I Use a Sleep Sack?
The short answer? Absolutely! Using a sleep sack is one of my favorite ways to help my baby continue to sleep well, all the way into toddlerhood! As soon as my baby starts to roll from their back to their tummy, I make the transition out of the swaddle and into the sleep sack.
Here’s why:
It acts as a sleep trigger and lets your baby’s brain know it’s time to sleep.
Sleep Sacks act as a comfort item, like a stuffy or a blanket, but it’s totally safe and recommended by the AAP.
A sleep sack will keep your baby warm and cozy in a safe way.
Sleep Sacks help prevent babies from climbing out of the crib at an early age.
Sleep Sacks provide a consistent sleep environment, no matter where you are!
The Melli Sleep Sack keeps track of the binky, eliminating all of those night wakings due to a lost binky!
As a sleep consultant, I cannot recommend using a sleep sack enough.
