Can I Contact Nap and Still Have a Good Sleeper?

The answer is…YES! you can totally have both:)

If your baby is 0-4 months and you’re struggling with short naps, try snuggling your baby when possible! The goal at this age is to get plenty of day sleep — not to have long, independent naps.

Naps don’t develop until after 4 months, so expecting regular, independent naps before then is kind of like expecting your baby to walk as a newborn! They simply aren’t ready yet.

However, they can totally learn independent night sleep at this age in a safe and gentle way, and getting plenty of day sleep will help with that!

If your baby is older than 4 months and still struggling with short naps, I can help! I’ve been a baby sleep consultant for over a decade now and would love to help you and your family get more sleep. Check out this FREE short naps guide that will give you tips to extend those short naps. 💕
